Help Wanted

Before we make you read too much further, we have to warn you, any work solicited here is for a future rail trip on the Wingate Brook- no money is involved. If you dare to continue, then here is the list:

 

• Experienced Plumber
Must be able to work with copper piping ¼"- 1½" and have a general knowledge of rail car plumbing, air and water systems.

• Experienced Fabricator and Installer
Mostly work with stainless steel. Must be experienced in tig welding and be able to create aesthetically pleasing, structurally sound workmanship. Must be able to design and create parts, large pieces, cabinets, mouldings, etc. and install.

• Electronics/Electrician
Must fully understand 110/220/440, 3-Phase and 32v DC rail car electrical systems. Must also have knowledge of electronic devices (television, stereo, phone systems).

• Painter/Prep Body Work
Must have the ability to prep old finish, featheredge chips, and blend paint. Must be able to use today’s technology low-pressure (very low over spray) spray or electrostatic paint application. Must be able to apply paint to walls, ceilings and confined areas with consistent, no-run finish.

• Upholsterer
Must have the equipment and knowledge to re-fluff and upholster various railroad couches, chairs and folding seats.
